Project Golf
This website was used to promote an inaugural Ryder Cup-style golf tournament between 8 friends. Adopting a light-hearted style, the site successfully captured the mood and excitment of the players by helping create a faux-rivalry and by hyping the event using entertaining multimedia features and branding. The site also provided a platform to keep all informed of the schedule and aided the organisation of the event. With team T-shirts and a trophy purchased, and despite the Scottish weather, the weekend was a roaring success and the site gained numerous plaudits from all involved.
