Barry L. Watt Name: Barry L. Watt

Age: 26

Occupation: Retired Editorial Artist/Graphic Designer, now freeloading immigrant who dabbles with interweb code

NICKNAME: "Baz", "The Mull", "Jesus", "Cut Your Hair" (Graeme calls me that all the time anyway)

Lowest ever score: 81 (off the white tees at Hazlehead 2 - pity about the double-bogey finish!)

Favourite course played: Arnold Palmer Course, Turtle Bay Resort, O'ahu, Hawaii

GREATEST EVER SHOT/GOLFING MOMENT: Self-discovery of a cure (86% success rate) to my powerslice that doesn't involve aiming way left. I now like to think I play with a generous fade.

WEAKNESS: Too many putts in a round. I'd still not be seen dead with a belly-putter.

Favourite Club: The driver - I never seem to back down from using The Gun, it's often the safest club off the tee. There's also something about creaming the ball as hard and as far as possible at every given opportunity that I cannot escape. Notably however, my 7 iron has become a very important and reliable friend from 150 yards, aiding my club selection accordingly.

Most hated hole: 18th at Silverknowes. Far too long.

SUPERSTITIONS/ROUTINE: Mark my ball with a US quarter, heads up.

Worst ever score: Upwards of 120 when I was a young 'un I'm sure.

Goals for the season: More birdies, less putts... I hope to break 80. One day.

Clubs: Dunlop MXIIs - affectionate mentions include The Gun (driver), Gizmo (5 wood) and Voldemort (putter - it has no name, tends to be bad, but can also punish others when they least expect it).
